True Confections is my go to bakery for cake, cheesecake and other treats in Vancouver. I have to say, my absolute favourite cake is the salted caramel cake, but I have been equally impressed with all of their offerings, the rainbow cake included. The buttercream is just to die for – buttery, smooth, and melt in your mouth – and the bake on the cake is just perfect! The rainbow cake exceeded my expectations, and I hope it stays on the menu. It freezes exceptionally well for future treat nights!

I have consistently ordered these cakes from True Confections and the cake is always soft, baked to perfection, and the buttercream is always melt-in-mouth good (not overly sweet or sugary, which is so so so hard to find, you can’t even feel the grains of sugar, which means a high quality of buttercream).
